When will I be able to begin using the storage unit?
Upon choosing a unit that meets your storage needs, you can move in your personal items as soon as you have completed necessary documentation and provided payment.
Do you require a notice before I remove my items from the storage unit?
Yes, we kindly ask for ten (10) days notice before you remove your items from storage. Plan to vacate the unit by your paid through date to avoid additional rent charges.
Is there any documentation needed to rent a storage unit?
Yes, we require a valid state issued driver’s license or identification card, payment, and an executed rental agreement.
What are the lengths of your rental agreements?
At StoreRight, we rent our units on a month-to-month basis. You are not locked in to any long term agreements and can enjoy flexible terms.
Should I purchase insurance?
Buying insurance for your personal property is strongly recommended. We offer affordable insurance. Inquire with our StoreRight manager when signing your rental agreement.
Can I access my storage unit when the office is closed?
Yes. You will be given your own security gate code that will allow you access to the unit seven (7) days a week. Gate hours vary by location and twenty-four (24) hour access may be available upon request.
How can I make a payment?
You can pay by mailing a check or money order, or making a payment through our website via credit card. You can also pay in person at your StoreRight facility location. The most convenient option is to have payments automatically charged to your credit card on a monthly basis.
What types of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, money orders, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Can I buy boxes and storage supplies from your office?
Yes, at most locations, we sell moving supplies on site for your convenience, and have a wide variety, including locks, boxes and other packing items.
How will I know how much storage space I may need?
You can contact one of our on-site managers and they will help you understand your storage requirements. Otherwise, you can visit our website and choose “What Size Unit?”. There, you will see online tools labeled “Size Guide” and “Space Calculator”, which will guide you in your decision on the unit size you may need.
Do I need an appointment to view your storage units?
Not at all. Visit one of our facilities during their Office Hours and one of our knowledgeable on-site managers will gladly show you the storage units we offer.
Do I need to purchase my own lock?
A lock is required to secure your unit. Please call or visit our StoreRight manager for details.
Are there items that I am NOT able to store in your storage units?
Yes, PROHIBITED ITEMS include but are not limited to, liquids, explosives, flammable items, toxic materials and perishable items. The complete list of prohibited items is here: What Not to Store.
Do you have dollies or handcarts available to use at your facility?
Yes, we provide complimentary carts to help you move in.
