Speaking of Christmas, Citrus County has lots going on for the Holiday Season! On Dec 1st, the Beverly Hills “Christmas in the Hills” parade begins 10 a.m. The day also includes an Outdoor Holiday Arts and Craft fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a classic car show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Additional information at www.citruscountyparks.com
The Crystal River Christmas Parade is Saturday, Dec 1st, starting at 6pm downtown. You can take your kids to two parades in one day!
Also, on Dec 1st, Step ‘N Time School of Dance Arts will be presenting their seventh annual production of “The Nutcracker 2012”, a ballet in two acts, at Curtis Peterson Auditorium in Lecanto. On Dec 7th, the New Dawn Singers present the 4th Annual : A Holiday Grinchmas Show, at the Citrus Springs Community Center. The New Dawn Singers is a traveling group of college age performers who bring a high-energy song and dance show to all ages across the country. They are full of life, enthusiasm and spirit. Then, on December 8th, there’s the Rock the Halls Christmas Party at the Canyon, at Rock Crusher Canyon Pavillion. Enjoy the sounds of ZoSo, the ultimate Led Zepplin Tribute Experience! Tickets are just $10. Beer, Wine and Food available. Taverna Manos will be a food supplier, and they will be donating much of their proceeds to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Citrus County.
On December 15th at 6pm, the always popular Homosassa Boat Parade is going on! That’s always fun.
