However, while your belongings are in transit to StoreRight Self Storage, here’s some helpful points to keep in mind:
If you’re using a professional mvoing company, verify that they’re insured and bonded to cover damage they be responsible for. Most movers limit their responsibility to basic damage amounts.
Note the condition of your items if you’re using a moving company. It’s important to know the value of any high-dollar items being moved. It’s a good idea to take photos of high dollar items and to get an appraisal before the move. Then if you have to make a claim, the original condition of the items will be documented.
If you’re packing and moving yourself with a rented truck, take a look at your auto insurance policy. Many policies will cover rented trucks, but only up to a certain weight. Better to check, don’t assume!
In a self-move, careful packing is critical. Also keep the truck locked up along the way. The more organized your are at the beginning of your move, the easier it will be to organize your unit at StoreRight Self Storage. You’ll thank yourself later!

StoreRight Self Storage offers all our customers the option to participate in the storage insurance program from Bader Company. It protects against damage to, or loss of, your property from 32 different causes, including Fire, Earthquake, Water Damage & Burglary. Almost any personal or business property you store is eligible for coverage. Some of the exceptions are items such as accounts, bills, firearms, currency, deeds, evidences of debt, securities, money, notes, animals, jewelry, watches, precious or semi-precious stones, fur and garments trimmed in fur. These items are not insurable under this policy. Just as with regular Home Owners policies, damage from flood or rising water is not covered. Flood insurance is available from the Federal Government. The maximum amount of insurance that can be provided is $20,000 per unit. Coverage starts when you complete and sign the Insurance Participation Form, pay your first month’s premium and move your property into the unit at the facility. Property is also covered while in transit to , and within 100 miles of, the storage facility. This is a pay-as-you-go, monthly renewable policy. Your coverage continues as long as you pay your monthly premium. If you terminate your lease and move out, coverage stops at move out. Bader will take your claim statement, mail claim documents, verify loss, send adjuster, if required and settle claim in a timely manner. This coverage is offered as a service and StoreRight is not an insurance agent nor act as agent for the insurer. Lindsay Lohan is on the verge of losing expensive designer clothes, family heirlooms and potentially embarrassing items … because she hasn’t paid her storage bill and as a result the unit is about to go up on the auction block.
Sources close to Lindsay tell us … LiLo has fallen behind on paying her monthly bill … and now owes roughly $16,000 to the storage company.
The account is now delinquent and the locker can’t be opened until the balance is paid in full … and that’s not going to happen because Lindsay doesn’t have the cash. As we reported, her financial situation is so desperate the IRS has frozen her bank accounts because of unpaid back taxes.
So here’s the upshot. If Lindsay doesn’t get a big check for XMAS, her storage unit will be auctioned off this month. We’re told she’s reached out to family and friends to front her the money but so far no one is biting.
Talk about a good “Storage Wars” episode.

THE STORERIGHT SELF STORAGE CHRISTMAS STORY
T’was the month before Christmas and I said to my
Spouse.
We’re getting company, there’s no room in our house.
The closets are packed clear up to the ceiling,
What to do just had us reeling.
Perhaps to the garage, we could move it out there,
But when we opened the door, not a spot anywhere.
We searched the whole house to find vacant space,
Not under the bed, there just was no place.
I turned in a hurry to look somewhere else,
Then tripped over a box and tore my blouse.
Thoughts of our guests taking such a fall,
Was not very appealing at all.
When I picked myself up and turned on the light,
The answer was there on a magnet from StoreRight.
We knew in a minute what we had to do,

The process was easy and quick as a wink,
And the prices were less than one would think.
The staff was so caring and wonderfully kind,
I soon would be leaving my clutter behind.

And while she was there, I sold her a fan.

On Dec 1st, the Beverly Hills “Christmas in the Hills” parade begins 10 a.m. The day also includes an Outdoor Holiday Arts and Craft fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a classic car show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Additional information at www.citruscountyparks.com
The Crystal River Christmas Parade is Saturday, Dec 1st, starting at 6pm downtown. You can take your kids to two parades in one day!
Also, on Dec 1st, Step ‘N Time School of Dance Arts will be presenting their seventh annual production of “The Nutcracker 2012”, a ballet in two acts, at Curtis Peterson Auditorium in Lecanto.
